Mr Kaverupanpatti Sennimalai
Rangasamy (65) popularly known as KSR, after dropping
out from the primary school had to join a dairy farm, due to
poverty. He noticed many of his rural friends could not get
proper education due to various constraints. He vowed
to provide quality education to rural people and to generate
employment opportunities.
Mr KSR after joining the dairy
farm, wanted to become an entrepreneur. With the
support of his well wishers, he started a weaving unit with
seven power looms. He converted every single
opportunity to come up in life to fulfill his dreams.

place (see the picture of barren lands in 1980s)
Presently, he has converted
the 300 acre barren lands into a world class human capital
with 12 Educational Institutions, which provide education to
more than 13000 students every year. In the past
twenty years, these institutions have given education to
nearly two lakh students. Besides, he has also set up
Textile Units which provide employment opportunity to
thousands of rural people. (see the picture of present
buildings)
Mr K S R spends more than ten
hours in the campus, visiting all the educational
institutions. In spite of all his achievements, he has
not forgotten his past. He maintains a cattle farm
with around 150 cows in a traditional way (picture). He says,
"these cows add glory and honour to the campus"
